Peter's role with Gentian Financial is multifaceted. He is the primary point of contact for many of our clients' financial planning and investment needs; he is the director of our investment committee and manages the relationships between our practice and our outside mutual fund partners.
His goals reflect that of our team - to be the advocate for all aspects of our clients' financial lives and help them confidently pursue their goals. This includes cultivating trusting relationships, building an understanding of each client's individual situation, and keeping them informed about the markets and the economy's impact on investments.
Peter earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, is an Empowered Wealth Ambassador and holds the Wealth Management Specialist (WMS) designation, along with Series 7, 24 and 66 securities licenses.
Peter believes continuing education plays a vital role in his ability to best serve our clients. He is currently working towards the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and attends numerous conferences and workshops throughout the year including The Raymond James National Conference for Professional Development, The Academy of Preferred Financial Advisors, Strategic Coach and due diligence conferences hosted by our mutual fund partner firms.
Originally from Madison, Peter now resides in Mequon. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with family and friends. He is also an avid baseball fan and home brewer.
